Lexicon IHM conducts a 3 Year Undergraduate B.Sc Hospitality Studies spread over 6 Semesters, 2 Semester each year, along with a 9 months internship.

We use learning-by-doing experiences to transform students' skill sets from the moment they join us into that of an exceptional hotelier from the moment they graduate, thereby flipping the traditional approach to education. We prioritize those skills and mindsets that are most relevant to bringing about change right now—in the individual's career, the organizations they work in, and the society they live in—by focusing on what our students can do in the real world rather than the theory they study in classrooms. This belief in learning by doing is more than just an educational philosophy; it is the driving force behind every program we offer, every course we develop, and every class we teach.

The Lexicon Institute of Hotel Management offers a range of Hospitality Management courses after 12th that are specifically designed for a range of audiences who want to work in the hospitality industry as managers: young adults with dreams of starting their own hotel business, students who want to pursue a higher degree in the same field later, significant work experience who want to update their qualifications, young aspirants in other fields with lower English proficiency who want to enroll in a foundation program or make a career move into the international hotel and hospitality industry.

YCMOU

Students to be enrolled for B.Sc Hospitality Studies (V 140) affiliated to YCMOU (Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University). The same will be facilitated and supported by the team at Lexicon Institute of Hotel Management.

YCMOU Degrees are recognized by all member universities of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and are at par with Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates of all Indian Universities/Institutions, as per UGC. YCMOU team at Lexicon Institute of Hotel Management.

The university was established on 1 st July, 1989 through Act XX of 1989 of the Maharashtra State Legislature, justly named after Yashwantrao Chavan, Maharashtra’s great political leader and builder of modern Maharashtra.

Due to statutory powers conferred by an act XX (1989) of Maharashtra state legislature and the recognition by the ‘University Grants Commission of India’, this university is fully empowered to award various academic certifications like certificates, diplomas, and graduate, post-graduate, doctoral degrees. This university also takes all precautions, at all programme stages from ‘Curriculum Design’ to ‘Examination’, to ensure that the standards and quality of education and examinations are preserved.

All degree programmes are duly recognized and approved by the ‘University Grant Commission (UGC)’. Hence, these programmes are equivalent to the respective programmes offered by any other statutory university in India, for the purpose of employment, promotion and further education. In this respect, the status of this university is at par with all other statutory universities of India.
